How to use MusicLinkr
The quickest way to convert a link is from the iOS share sheet:
1. Open Apple Music or Spotify and find any song or album.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Select MusicLinkr from the share sheet (tap "More" if it doesn't appear at first).
4. MusicLinkr will display links for both Apple Music and Spotify. Tap to copy, open, or share.
You can also work inside the MusicLinkr app itself: paste a link to convert it directly, or use the built-in search and trending charts to find music and share it without leaving the app.
First time? Open the MusicLinkr app — its built-in setup guide walks you through enabling the share extension, with short demo videos.
What's supported
MusicLinkr supports individual songs and full albums shared from Apple Music or Spotify. Playlists, podcasts, radio stations, and artist pages are not currently supported and will show a clear message explaining this.
Ads and removing them
MusicLinkr is free and supported by ads. Ads appear only in the main app (between the Appearance and Recents sections) — the share extension you use from the share sheet never shows live ads.
To go ad-free, open the MusicLinkr app and tap Remove Ads for a one-time purchase. If you'd rather leave a tip, the Coffee and Fancy Latte tips remove ads as well. Already bought it, or set up a new device? Tap Restore Purchase to restore it for free.
Frequently asked questions
MusicLinkr doesn't appear in my share sheet.
Go to the share sheet, scroll to the end of the app row, and tap "More." Find MusicLinkr in the list and enable it. You only need to do this once.
A song shows "Not found" on one platform.
Some tracks are not available on both platforms due to licensing differences. If the song genuinely exists on the platform and the error persists, please contact us.
The app crashes or stops responding.
Force-quit the app and try again. If the problem continues, please email us with the iOS version and a description of what you were doing.
How many conversions does MusicLinkr keep?
Up to 500 recent conversions, and you can search through them. Pin any conversion to your Favorites to keep it beyond that.
How do I clear my recent history?
Open the MusicLinkr app and tap the "Clear" button in the Recents section. If you have iCloud sync turned on, note that a copy of your library also lives in your own iCloud account — see the question below.
How does iCloud sync work?
It's optional and off until you turn it on, either during the setup walkthrough or later in MusicLinkr's Settings — inside the app, not in iOS Settings. When it's on, your history, Favorites, and ad-free status are kept in your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. We have no access to that data.
What happens if I turn iCloud sync off, or delete the app?
Syncing stops, and the copy on that device goes when the app does. The copy already in your iCloud account is kept on purpose, so your other devices keep working. Because of how Apple's key-value storage works, that copy isn't listed per-app in iOS Settings, so there's no button — in the app or in iOS — that erases it, and we can't erase it for you. It holds only your conversions, your pins, and your ad-free flag. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I change my ad or tracking choices?
Tap "Privacy choices" inside the MusicLinkr app to update your ad-consent settings, or go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See our Privacy Policy for what data is and isn't used.
